Little Canada is an immersive miniature-world attraction in downtown Toronto (on Yonge Street near the Eaton Centre), where the landmarks and landscapes of Canada are recreated in extraordinary, intricate detail at a tiny scale. It's part of the global tradition of grand model worlds, lovingly crafted and brought to life with constant motion and clever effects.

The attraction is divided into "Little" destinations representing regions of the country — among them Little Toronto (with a miniature CN Tower and skyline), Little Niagara (with its own flowing falls), Little Ottawa, Little Quebec, the Rockies and Western Canada, and the Maritimes, with more areas added over time. Each is densely populated with thousands of hand-painted figures, moving cars, trains, boats, and animations, and the whole thing cycles through a sped-up day-and-night lighting sequence, so scenes light up after "dark." Interactive buttons let visitors trigger little events, and a fun touch lets you create a tiny figurine of yourself ("Little You") to be placed in the displays.

It's the kind of place where the joy is in spotting the endless tiny details and humorous vignettes, rewarding slow looking. Compact and entirely indoors, it's a great all-weather option and a hit with families, though the craftsmanship impresses adults too. Plan around 1.5 to 2 hours. Its central downtown location near the Eaton Centre and Dundas Square makes it easy to combine with shopping and other downtown sights.
